Re: BREAKING!!! 29 North Carolina (2.00 / 1)

Except, as far as I can tell, none of these NC legislators are superdelegates.

Re: BREAKING!!! (none / 0)

I am surprised this came before PA. I would have expected the announcement to be made just after. I think it might indicate that the Obama campaign is fairly confident about the results tonight.

Will NC go blue in the GE?

According to SUSA, (2.00 / 1)

It would be a tie if Obama was our nominee.

Obama campaign (2.00 / 3)

Obama's internal polls in PA must be TERRIBLE for this to be coming out on election day.

Re: Obama campaign (none / 0)

I think they would have done this either way...

Nothing to do with the PA numbers, Obama's internals put Clinton at a double digit win, so they see what's coming.

Politics, sure, a bit of distraction on a big day for Hillary....

Re: Obama campaign (none / 0)

Obama's numbers put Hillary up double-digits? Wow. Where'd you see that? If anything it sounds more like the now-cliche game of expectations-setting from them.

Re: Obama campaign (none / 0)

This sounds about right.  That's ok, everyone knew HRC would pound Obama tonight.  Onto North Carolina.

I've seen this movie before... (2.00 / 1)

This is akin to 100 mayors endorsing Hillary in Pennsylvania. Cute, but it doesn't really mean anything.

Come again? (none / 0)

You don't think local machines mean anything?

Re: Come again? (none / 0)

Sure it does but it's different than saying a local machine endorsed Obama. He's going to have a field day there, but I'm sure Hillary also has 29 NC legislators as well. That's the point, both at this point can put together any number they want for the states they want. It doesn't mean anything practically.

He already had them lined up and releases them when nessessary.

Re: BREAKING!!! (none / 0)

Yeah, I read your post and you're most likely right. I heard on MSNBC that Obama's campaign announces SDs when news isn't so good.

Re: BREAKING!!! (none / 0)

I really hate the BREAKING!! thing.  Breaking is something drastic and earth-shattering..a natural disaster, etc.  Not some silly political blip.
